Dan Ireland, director of "Passionada," has been
producing and directing movies since 1988. In 1975, he co-founded the
Seattle International Film Festival.
"Passionada" is his third directorial effort. The first two were "The
Whole Wide World" (1996), starring Renee Zellweger and Vincent D'Onofrio,
and "The Velocity of Gary" (1998), also with Vincent D'Onofrio.
Ireland has served as producer or executive producer on such films as
"Twister," "Whore," "Lair of the White Worm," "Midnight Crossing" and "Paperhouse."
