In the past 12 years since Lincoln park had closed, I really didn't think about it too much.  Only when it made the news due to fires set by an arsonist, did it rekindle any memories of the park.  When Spinner Publications announced it would publish a book titled  Lincoln Park Remembered,  I searched through my photo files to see what I could find in hopes of contributing to this upcoming publication.  This brought the memories rushing forth... and inspired Joyce and I  to take a walk through the park in May of 1999, and see what was left.

It wasn't a pretty sight.
